The 3-inch Diameter Backing Plate is designed to offer perfect balance and support for 3-inch foam pads. The actual diameter is 2 7/8-inches, with a slight beveled edge to provide extra space for the pad to help prevent contact with the paint surface. Urethane is also resistant to heat. The Flexible Backing Plate minimizes the transfer of heat from the motor to the paint to prevent burning.  Our Dual-Action Flexible Backing Plate provides the safest, most durable surface for your pads so that you get the best performance possible from your dual-action polisher.

Features:
