The temperature sensor is part of a refrigerator's and a freezer's defrost system. When a temperature sensor fails, your fridge's evaporator will ice up, causing that section to warm up. Installation Tips

You can install this component in the refrigerator or freezer area of your Samsung appliance. To replace the fridge sensor, you'll need a Phillips head screwdriver, wire cutters, a small flat head screwdriver, and a new zip tie. To replace the freezer sensor, you'll need the same tools plus a 10mm socket with ratchet. Disconnect your appliance and safely store your food prior to beginning the repair.
