Prevent others with a key from accessing a locked door with this Door Knob Lock-Out Device. This door knob lock-out device prevents turning of knob and access to keyhole, and is commonly used for evictions, rentals, home sales, job sites and in-home or office storage. For use with keyholes in round door knobs of up to 2-7/16 in. outside diameter, and will not work with door knobs of a larger diameter. With diecast construction and a gray painted finish, this lock-out device is built to last, and installation is quick and easy. Cylinder is held in place with an O-ring and is removable when device is open and unlocked. The cylinder cannot be removed when device is closed and locked. Note that the shaft cut-out is oval/oblong in shape, measures 1-3/4 in. x 1-1/2 in, and may fit loosely over some door knobs with round, slender shafts. Note: These lock-out devices are for use over keyed/locked door knobs to block access to the keyhole from others who may have keys to unlock the door.
