With the SiliconDust HDHomeRun EXTEND Tuner, you can cut the Cable TV subscription fees. The small box allows you to watch live HDTV on up to 2 devices (Smart TV and PC) simultaneously. It uses wired Ethernet network and transmits the OTA shows over 802.11n WIFI. The unit features h264 transcode for more efficient video streaming and better playback. HDHomeRun EXTEND works well with the HDHomeRun DVR service letting you watch, pause and record any show in full 1080p resolution.

The HDHomeRun Tuner also works with Emby media server. This personal media server platform enables you to stream media files inside and out of the house. Simply install the media software to your computer or NAS box. Emby's client apps support live TV on Chromecast, Roku, Android and Amazon Fire TV, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Android, iOS, and Windows. You can access Emby's additional features by subscribing to its monthly, yearly or lifetime Premiere subscription.
