Trimmer Caddy's patented spring loaded axle design reduces overall vibration, and also allows the string trimmer cutting head to be intentionally bumped on the ground, releasing additional trimmer line only when needed. This feature saves time, aggravation and money replacing wasted trimmer line. Trimmer Caddy's unique tool-less spring tensioned adjustment bracket incorporates interlocking geared teeth that allow the bracket to be hand adjusted for any desired mounting angle. This bracket, along with tool-less features, allows the Trimmer Caddy to be quickly attached and adjusted in seconds, accommodating for both short and tall operators. This patented system ensures that Trimmer Caddy will fit virtually all gas and electric powered trimmer models and sizes, as well as many models of metal detectors. The Trimmer Caddy is maintenance free due to its high quality construction using mostly strong lightweight aluminum parts. Stainless steel and zinc plated fasteners prevent rusting.
