Jl Organics Part#: 866239000040 - VermisTerra Earthworm Tea (Quart) - Organic Casting Tea

VermisTerra Earthworm Casting Tea is a microbial solution prepared by a proprietary technique. It is an excellent fertilizer that help increase the ecological diversity and vitality of the soil. It is a concentrate, so just add water and feed using a watering can, hose-end sprayer, or thru your irrigation line. As a byproduct of vermicompost, it contains all the benefits of earthworm castings and more. Viable plant health and production rely on their relationship with beneficial microbes the tea provides. Applying our high-quality Earthworm Casting Tea will make your plants more vigorous and more capable of withstanding diseases and pests. Originally formulated for commercial agricultural use and organic farms, now available for home gardens. Extended Shelf Life, Lab Tested for Pathogens and Heavy Metals: Unlike standard compost teas, VermisTerra Earthworm Casting Tea does not have a limited shelf life of a few days. Since the necessary micro-organisms require oxygen to live, compost tea begins to lose it's effectiveness right after aeration is cut off. As a result, harmful pathogens such as E. coli and Salmonella causes a concern as they feed on the bacteria that die off in other compost tea. VermisTerra tea can be stored for later use. Reduce Exposure to Harmful Chemicals: With VermisTerra Earthworm Casting Tea, nutrients and disease and pest control are incorporated therefore use of other chemical fertilizers and pesticides are eliminated. This keeps you, your children and pets safe as well as being helpful to the environment.

Features:

  • Improves Soil Structure: Microbes in the teas have the ability to create pore spaces in the soil. More oxygen are able to penetrate into the soil for even more biological activities to occur. As well as plant roots can root into the soil more easily. Well structured soil also soaks up water like sponge to retain water for longer periods.
  • Suppresses Disease and Pest Pressure: The concept of Earthworm Casting Tea is to multiply micro-organisms which are helpful to plants. When the tea is applied to plants, those "good" microbes will populate the surface of plants and win over the "bad" microbes for living space.
  • Each Batch is Lab Tested - Free of Heavy Metals and Pathogens (E. Coli and Salmonella)
  • Certified Organic by USDA & CDFA - Safe for Organic farming and edible crop and gardens
  • Do not freeze. Contains live microbes. Please store at 40-90 F. We cannot guarantee that postal carriers will store your packages out of the cold. If you currently experience freezing temperatures, please consider ordering in Spring.
